Welcome to Bike Month 2018!

We hope you’re as excited about Bike Month as we are! If you haven’t been riding your bike much lately we encourage you to use Bike Month as motivation to get back out there and ride. Take a trip to the store by bike instead of driving, take a casual bike ride around your neighborhood or join us on one of our upcoming rides.

If you’re a dedicated cyclist and ride all the time, we hope you’ll use Bike Month to encourage your friends and family to ride a bike this month. Sometimes the only thing stopping someone from riding a bike is a flat tire, maybe you can help a friend get back into riding just by fixing a flat!

here are some bike month links to get you in the mood:
Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition – Bike Month
LA Metro Bike – Month
The League of American Cyclists – Bike Month
Days of the Year – Bike Month
A Comprehensive Guide to Bike Safety by Rydoze

And here are some of our events we hope you’ll attend:

Volunteer with us at CicLAvia: Heart of the Foothills

Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition will be stationed at the Pomona Hub during the upcoming CicLAvia ~ we’ll be providing basic bike repair for free and could use a few more volunteers.

Do you know how to fix a flat tire? Great! Help us help cyclists during the biggest cycling event in the region this Sunday. Shifts are for two and a half hours, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the rest of the route.
