PVBC Community Meeting (5/2/17)

We’re pleased to announce that our bi-monthly community meeting will feature Claremont city councilmember Sam Pedroza, who will give a presentation on the Greenway Network (connecting bikeways and trails along rivers, creeks and washes).

“Councilmember Sam Pedroza is serving his third term on the Claremont City Council, first elected in 2007 and again in 2011, each time as the highest vote-getter. The City election in 2015 was uncontested. He served his rotational term as Mayor in 2011-2012 and 2016-2017.

His interest in livable community efforts from a regional perspective are expressed through the boards on which he serves on behalf of his City. He is the Chair of the Foothill Gold Line Joint Powers Authority and the City representative to the General Assembly of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG).”

Our bi-monthly community meetings are a great way to learn more about cycling in the area and meet other cyclists in a casual setting. PVBC community meetings are on the first Tuesday of odd-numbered months 😉 at 6:30pm.
