call for volunteers

Hi everybody!
Here at Pomona Valley Bicycle Coalition we rely on volunteers to do the great work of making cycling safer (and more fun) in the region. We’re currently seeking people who would like to get more involved in the planning and execution of events, outreach and education.
Below are a few areas we could really use your help with.
General call for volunteers

Outreach: We’d really like to step up our communications and outreach program. We’re looking for some social media savvy people to help share information about cycling in the Pomona Valley region. If you’re interested in helping out, even a little, let us know: Outreach

Education: The backbone of our coalition is making sure people are safe when cycling. What better way to do this than offer bike safety classes, create educational material and share helpful tips and tricks about biking safe. We’re looking for a few people to help expand our education programming. If you’d like to help make cycling safer in the region through our education program shoot us an email: Education

Advocacy: Interested in keeping up with and sharing current issues that impact cycling in the region? We’d love if you’d help us with current and upcoming legislation, bicycle master plans, infrastructure updates and calls to action . This is a critical part of improving cycling infrastructure in the region, if you’d like to lend a hand let us know: Advocacy

Got ideas?
